Energy Martial Arts
Energy Martial Arts is Energy's own relaxed and fun fighting concept. We train Nyrkkipaini, which combines boxing and wrestling, and Jyrki Saario's Defendo on theme days. Registration and additional questions: teemu.karhu@kuntokeskusenergy.com. The group works for a separate fee at our Energy Ylämylly. You don't need a previous sport background, but a criminal record is an obstacle to joining the group. If you want to develop as a fighter, come along!

Gym instruction
Our gym instructor guides you through the use of the most common equipment in 45 minutes. It is also possible to carry out counseling without going through the equipment. The tutorial does not include an exercise program.

Personal training
Our personal trainer guides you through your workouts, makes your workout more varied, and adjusts your workout and nutrition programs as needed. Personal training is especially useful if you need extra motivation for your workouts!

Meal plan
Our personal trainer creates an individual meal plan based on a 30-minute interview. The program takes into account your goals, schedule, and possible allergies.

Physical therapist's instruction
If you have muscle or joint pain, the best way to start exercising is with a 60-minute instruction by a physiotherapist! Our physiotherapist instructs you how to perform the movements effectively but without damaging the injured structures.

Body composition measurement
InBody 970 is one of the most reliable bioimpedance body composition measurement devices. After a measurement that lasts a few minutes, you get a printout showing muscle mass, fat percentage, amount of fat around the internal organs and more. In Kumpusaari, the measurements are made with the InBody 770 measuring device.

Body fat caliper measurement
Body fat and muscle mass can be measured the most accurately with a skinfold measurement! The measurement only takes about 10 minutes and is the best option when you want to monitor the change in muscle and fat frequently, for example every 2 or 4 weeks.

Bicycle ergometer
In bicycle ergometer test, your heart rate is increased over 12 minutes from resting level to 85 percent of your maximum. The test is suitable for all ages and fitness levels. A written feedback shows your current fitness level and includes individualized instructions on how to improve it.

Treadmill ergometer
The 15-minute treadmill ergometer test is the most reliable way to measure your running fitness level and is suitable for everyone who enjoys running! The test measures oxygen uptake as well as the effect of muscle fatigue on your running fitness. You will also receive instructions on how to improve your running.
